Letterloop normally starts Issues from the recurring schedule. A manual start begins the prepared next Issue now, which is useful after setup, reactivation, or a deliberate schedule exception.
Check the selected questions, polls, Sections, and events.
Confirm contributor and reader roles.
Review the reply window and resulting delivery date.
Make sure the Letterloop is active and its subscription state allows another Issue when required.
Open the Letterloop and locate its upcoming Issue.
Open the Issue actions.
Choose the manual start option.
Review the confirmation and start the Issue.
Open the new in-progress Issue and confirm its contributors, prompts, and deadline.
Letterloop creates one in-progress Issue, copies the chosen questions and Sections into it, creates reply records for contributors, and advances the parent Letterloop's next-Issue state. It prevents another start when an Issue is already in progress.
Check for an existing in-progress Issue.
Confirm that the Letterloop is not paused.
Review whether the first two delivered Issues have been used and a paid entitlement is now required.
Confirm that the signed-in account is an owner or admin.
Refresh before attempting to start again.
If no contributor submits a reply by delivery, Letterloop deletes the empty Issue and pauses the Letterloop. Reactivate it when the group is ready to take part.
