The question bank is the reusable source of prompts for a Letterloop. For an Issue that has not been manually customized, Letterloop can cycle through the bank in its displayed order to prepare suggested questions.
Open the Letterloop's question bank.
Review the questions and their order.
Add a custom question or poll, or choose an available template.
Edit wording or attribution where the control is available.
Reorder the bank so the next suggestions reflect your priorities.
Remove a question only after confirming it is no longer needed for a future Issue.
The bank primarily prepares future Issues. Changing it does not automatically rewrite an in-progress Issue. To change the prompts contributors currently see, customize that Issue directly.
Note: Editing a reusable question for the future is different from editing the selected copy in an upcoming or in-progress Issue. Confirm which screen you are using before saving.
The suggested-question setting controls how many questions Letterloop prepares from the bank for each Issue. With the minimum behavior, member-submitted questions can replace automatic suggestions as they arrive, unless an admin has customized the Issue and kept those suggestions.
Remove near-duplicates.
Prefer one clear idea per question.
Mix evergreen prompts with timely ones.
Use polls for bounded choices and normal questions for open responses.
Review the bank periodically so old suggestions do not cycle back unexpectedly.
