Applies to: iPhone/iPad, Android
Who can do this: Any signed-in Letterloop account holder with the valid App Store or Google Play purchase
Restore a valid mobile purchase to the Letterloop account that should use it before attempting another purchase.
An iOS purchase belongs to the Apple Account used in the App Store. An Android purchase belongs to the Google Account used in Google Play. Use that same store account to restore the purchase and to manage renewal, cancellation, and store payment methods.
Important: Restoring or moving a mobile subscription can remove subscription access from the previous Letterloop account. The destination must be an existing Letterloop account without another active plan. Restoring does not transfer Letterloop ownership or content.
Sign in to the existing Letterloop account that should receive the subscription.
Confirm that the iPhone or iPad uses the Apple Account that made the purchase.
In Letterloop, open account settings and select Subscription. If this Letterloop account is not already active, the subscription paywall opens.
Select Restore Purchases.
Wait for the status to refresh, then close the paywall if it remains open and reopen the affected Letterloop.
Expected result: The destination Letterloop account shows the mobile plan as active.
Sign in to the existing Letterloop account that should receive the subscription.
Confirm that Google Play uses the Google Account that made the purchase.
When Letterloop finds a valid subscription on the device, it shows Restore Subscription?
Select Restore.
When Subscription Restored appears, select OK and reopen the affected Letterloop.
If the prompt does not appear: Do not buy another plan. Confirm the Google account and Letterloop account, then use the recovery checks below.
After the subscription is active, open account settings, select Subscription, then select Manage Subscription. Letterloop opens the App Store or Google Play account that manages renewal and cancellation.
Do not buy another plan while the valid store purchase is being investigated.
Confirm the store account, the signed-in Letterloop account, and that the destination does not already have an active plan.
Keep the store receipt, but do not send full payment-card or banking details.
Contact support with the Letterloop email, store, purchase date, and non-sensitive receipt details. Use Contact Letterloop support.
