Events help a group remember birthdays and milestones such as weddings, graduations, anniversaries, new babies, housewarmings, or farewells. When an event falls within the current Issue's event window, Letterloop adds a special Section so contributors can leave messages and share photos.
Open the Letterloop and its Events area.
Choose the option to add an event.
Enter the event title, date, and the other details shown.
Choose an appropriate event type and emoji when available.
Save the event.
Check the upcoming Issue customization to confirm the event falls in the intended Issue.

A member's birthday can be stored with their member profile. Owners and admins can choose whether member birthdays are included automatically, choose the birthday emoji, and use the default or a custom birthday description.
Note: If a birthday is missing, confirm that the member has added a birthday and that automatic birthday inclusion is enabled.
Owners and admins can manage event settings and all events. A setting can allow contributors to create events and edit the non-automatic events they created; when it is off, only admins manage events. Readers do not become contributors simply because an event exists.
Confirm that the event date falls within the upcoming Issue's event window.
Confirm that the event is visible and falls within the current Issue window.
Check the upcoming Issue customization after changing a date.
For a birthday, confirm the member birthday and automatic birthday setting.
Refresh the Letterloop before creating a duplicate event.
